Voluntary Services
Are you in search of meaningful work, wish to gain new experiences, and simultaneously help other people? Then a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ), the Federal Volunteer Service (BFD), or the International Youth Volunteer Service (IJFD) is just right for you!
At our university hospital, you have the opportunity to fulfil these voluntary services in collaboration with the German Red Cross (DRK) and the International Federation (IB). In doing so, you can gain valuable insights into the world of medicine and nursing, and at the same time, broaden your social and professional competences.
Why a voluntary service?
Hands-on Experience – You'll be supporting our medical staff in their daily routines, giving you an authentic insight into the workings of a university hospital.
Personal Development – By having direct contact with patients, doctors, and nurses, you can further develop your social skills and learn to take responsibility.
Improving Career Opportunities – Voluntary service is a plus point on your CV and can not only facilitate your entry into medical professions.
Networking Opportunities – You'll meet like-minded individuals and build a network that may be beneficial in your future career path

No problem! We can offer that to you!
